Quick Summary of Schools:

PUBLIC SCHOOLS: All schools in South Carolina are required to operate a minimum of 180 days per school year. The school year normally begins during the last of August or first of September and ends the last of May or first of June. In order for your child to enter a school he or she must be at least six years old by November 1 of the current school year, have a valid birth certificate and a vaccination certificate.
