The Isle of Palms, SC Recreation Department will have the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Front Beach area of Isle of Palms on December 6th at 6pm. Fortunately because it will be dark here in the Charleston, SC Area at this time making the event timing perfect.

The City of the Isle of Palms will light a 22 foot tree. Local business and restaurants will all be there providing seasonal specials and live entertainment. In should be a great party for all ages. The Cool Ray mascot of the South Carolina Stingrays will be there making it a great party for all ages. This is a free event so there is no reason to not come with the entire family.



Quyen Asian Restaurant located inside of The Party Kingdom in James Island, SC served Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day. The price of the buffet style holiday dinner was $17.00 and kinds ate for only $6.00. I must say the Turkey was perhaps the best I ever had. There was also really good macaroni and cheese and a wide variety of sushi among other things making it a delightful experience. I would recommend Quyen to anyone looking for a casual place to eat lunch or place to have the entire family for Thanksgiving dinner next year.

The South Carolina Stingrays have games currently schueled until the first week in April of 2011.

Many of the games will be played at home in North Charleston, SC at The Coliseum.
